I wanna get new Ram for rig 2), I just don't know what to get ;/
Options are:

1) 512MB (2x256MB) PC3200/DDR400 DDR DIMM CL2.5-4-4-8 - GEIL Value Series (Dual Kit) 74€

2) 512MB PC3200/DDR400 DDR DIMM CL2-5-4-4 - Mushkin Blue Line 103€

3) 512MB (2x256MB) PC3200/DDR400 DDR DIMM CL2-3-2 - Mushkin Level 1 (Dual Kit) 130€

4) 512MB PC3200/DDR400 DDR DIMM CL2-2-2-5 - Mushkin High Performance Level II V2 136€

5) 512MB (2x 256 MB) PC3200/DDR400 DDR DIMM Level II V2 Dual Kit - Mushkin 150€

6)512MB (2x256MB) PC3200/DDR400 DDR DIMM CL2-2-2 - Mushkin Special (Dual Kit) 168€

I tend to get rather 2) or 3). Or ain't there a big difference between CL2.5-4-4-8, CL2-5-4-4 and CL2-3-2.

for 143€ I could get 1GB (2x512MB) PC3200/DDR400 DDR DIMM CL2.5-4-4-8 - GEIL Value Series (Dual Kit)

So would you get 512Mb Ram with good timings or 1024Mb with worse timings?

Thanks in advance,
Fr3ak

I would get 1GB with worse timings. The tighter timing's won't help performance as much as the additional memory. Especially for gaming.

kk Thats what I wanted to hear. I just need quite a long time when it comes to decisions for pc parts ;)

What do you do with your computer?

And would this be for the system in your sig?

ye for rig 2) in my sig
will be for gaming and programming mostly
6600gt is on its way, so I guess it will do quite good
