i have 2x512 pc3200 of different brands. it runs fine in dual channel mode. runs prime95 forever on default. trying to find an acceptable timing to run 210*10.5 on.
here are the timings i have tried with different vdimm 2.6-2.8 (motherboards highest)
9-5-5-3t
9-5-6-3t
10-6-6-3t
11-6-6-3t (most stable i have found runs prime 95 with no errors. crashes in 3dmark 03 scrambled my screen to strange lettering =O, 3dmark 03 is too much for my video only get 3 fps in some of the benches, tried 3dmark one more time and monitor feed shut off, but can run all the way through at default timing. benched with higher memory bandwidth, also runs this test fine over and over.)
12-6-6-3t
13-5-7-3t
13-7-7-3t
11-5-5-3t
11-5-6-3t
12-5-5-3t
12-5-6-3t

I dont know what else to try. Is it possible that this memory is so poor that it cant reach 210 fsb? i've tried many more timings now and have only been able to prime95 successfully on these timings. However, when running aquamark, cpu bench, or 3dmark they crash to desktop.

I have now tried each stick seperately. And running in single channel mode. This actually decreases the usability of it.
