I just purchased a Visiontek Geforce3 and was wondering if it would be to my advantage to put bigger heatsinks on the RAM.
Any input would be helpful.

Ram sinks dun make a difference
maybe you consider gettin more fans to suck the hot air outta the back of the card
or maybe put a piii heatsink on ur card (that will take up to 2 pci slots)
the best solution (i personally fink) is just to get a super fan and suck the hot air outta the back of ur graphix card

I am looking at getting away from fans.
I have a watercooling system and have attatched a waterblock to the graphics card instead of having a fan.
I am looking at cooling the RAM more. there is a Core/RAM GF3 watercooler at www.cool-computers.com, but it is around $89.

if you really want to you could get them from radio shack, but you wont get much of a difference

edit:
after doing some research changing hgeatsinks dont make a difference, the only time you might see one is if you diddnt have ramsinks in the first place (which is unheard of with a gf3)

Ramsinks do make a difference, maybe 1 or 2Mhz, but still, that is a differnce :) might try some thermal epoxy, rather then frag tape to put them on though. The GF3 card have adequate ram cooling, just not fitted very well :(
