I got my hands on some industrial strength thermal paste,

it's used in the chem department, on their super conducting thermal lasers, and I got some super pure silver that's like highly toxic, and u use gloves with, to use on connecting the L1 bridges...

but haven't tried them yet out of fear of screwing something up, and I don't have the paste in abundance...

your opinion?

Michigan State University has found that Arctic Silver II out performs the comercial and industrial "super pastes" in their Kryostat. I am also skeptical about silver being highly toxic, it's not.

IMO he´s refering to the electrical conductivity of this paste, not the thermal.
He plans to use it to close L1 Bridges.

It could work, but does it dry or stay it pasty, if it does it might smear when u attach the heatsink

Some people were talking about using ASII made out of diamonds. Crazy Ars Technica...
