well, i just got some AS2, but when attempting to remove my HSF, the clip broke where the screwdriver goes. Luckily, no damage to mobo, and the HSF is still securely fastened to the socket. I'm wondering, can you buy replacement clips for these?
Thanks in advance for the input.

only thing I can suggest is going to the global win website and emailing them about it..

I think u can get those clips
cause when i applied the silicone trick to my CAK38 i took the clip out and had a look. And i saw it in a shop
but as u probably know i live in HongKong
but i'm pretty sure that u can get another clip

i did the exact same thing!!! but isnt there a slot for a scredriver on the other side too? thats how i got min off. when mine broke i thought oh s*@*, cause there was a big white gash in my mobo, but i guess the gash was just plastic casue i dont see the gash anymore and my mobo still works. but yeah check out the other side, there should be a slot on the other side of the clip too. and make sure you have the heatsink on the right WAY. when i removed mine i looked at the bottom and noticed i had it on backwards, and i think thats why it broke in the first place. you could also use a pair of needle nose pliers to remove it. well hope this helps.
I don't quite understand what has broken off, I know the clip has a flappy bit that you push down on that can come off but I don't see how the heatsink could still be attached if that was what happened. Any chance of a pic, or a jpg diagram so I can see what you mean.

company that you got it form, and ask If they could send you

I had the same thing happen to a FOP32. It works fine with a Taisol clip from an AMD retail CPU.
