List of chips and their ratings?

I guess this is a newbie question, and I know there are various comments on different memory chips. I was wondering if there is a list of the various memory chips with a rating of some kind. I am looking for a good price on DDR memory, and plan on doing some visual inspections of the modules, but I am not very familiar with the chips used and how good they are.

Is there a sorted listing of some kind that I can print out and have onhand when i'm looking around?
