I currently have 512MB PC2700 CL2.5 Kingston RAM. My mother board supports up to 2 gigs of RAM. So here is my questions.

What should I get that will benefit my RAM? (My motherboard does not have dual channel or at least thats what i think)

512 PC2700
512 PC3200
1gig PC2700
1gig PC3200

why am i asking? it seems to me PC3200 is always on sale.. and i heard the faster RAM module actually underclocks to match the other right? So what should i get?

some questions you might want to answer first so we can get a clearer idea of what you intend to do.

1. What motherboard do you have?
2. Do you intend to upgrade your CPU/motherboard sometime soon?
3. what CPU do you currently have?

Use Everest Home Edition if you're not sure of what motherboard you have now.
