If stan leaves he leave I can't blame him his power bill must be breaking his wallet. I really don't want to see him go. If stan leaves we will lose a very vauable member of our team but he does have a point. There are only a few top folders and their are a few people climbing up the ranks but he has helps us more then people even see. There are a lot of members on the team given but, I have noticed people come and as soon as they hit the door they leave and never come back.
WHY?

Stan from what I have seen I think you feel that your the one keeping the teams WUs so high. I can't blame you for not folding just to show people how much you really crank out. I believe that it will help push the team harder too cause [H] is putting out 7000 a day and were in second with 2000 a day come on team lets do iot for the people that died at the hands of sick and twisted people.

I am doing all my work units for the people that didn't have to die

Certainly it would be great to have Stanman return. He's a big gun and contributed in many ways aside from simply running a large home farm. He is continuing to fold on his own and that is still good.
One thing that I would like to point out is that this team has stepped up and is maintaining it's production. All of that despite having a couple of folks on vacation, others having communication problems, and still others with miscellaneous hardware problems as well as Stanmans absence. We may have slipped a little, but we are getting new members every day. I noticed KaHNZa hagning around again and I hope you decide to kick in and help. Several folks have migrated from other efforts and some of us are adding power of our own.
I personally have parts for 3 more rigs coming(only half here so far) and my very good friend David has started folding for the team on his box at work.
The point? Well. This is a team. This is a good team and it is not dependent upon a single person but upon a group of people. People with systems big and small may come and go but the team has remained and it continues to gain strength despite temporary setbacks. Given the events of the past week it is impressive to see so many people sticking around and trying to make the project work all because of what it represents for mankind.

Anyone notice me shoot up thru the ranks? in a few short weeks i've done 330frames... i'd fold more if 2k wasnt being a beeyatch and wont fold at all.. it goes tto finish 1 frame, then the dos box goes nuts... i can type in it! lol and EM shows no numbers for the total frames or the % per frame... if ANYONE can help me out with this probelm then that's 1 out of 2 things i've got done, and when they are DONE win98 is GONNEEEEEE!

I really need 2k to work right, i need to figure out how to change the PCI latency on my mobo, and figure out how to make folding work. When taht's done, GOODBYE 98 =D

I kind of use the windows logic on EM. If it don't compute you must reboot ( the program not the OS). I have cleared timeouts, Em not keeping up with completed frames, and BSOD all by closing and reopening EM. Not saying it will work every time though.

When I first joined I was running a k6-2 500 mhz and was ranked about 60,000 over all.

Now I'm folding on my new rig and finally got the secondary system folding again(it coulcn't access intenet for the longest and couldn't upload it's finished WU's, my IC sharing messes up my modem and wouldn't let my system connect either) 2 modems and phonejack splitter lets them both take turns using the line...be glad to be able to afford a router/and get DSL.

Anyway I'm now ranked under 9000 in just a few short weeks thanks to folding 24/7 x2.

Noticed also Stans stats not going up any....sad to see him not in there, but who knows what the problem could be.

well i hope he does come back.... i hit 500wu just recently but i have had my computers going and i havent been aroudn so i dont know my new update... i think we all need to try to pick up stanman's slack by tring to stay up 24/7 if not doing so allready or try to get another folding box up and running if you have the parts or computers around...hopefully he will come back...i completely forgot why he said he stoped or was going to run 40% of his folding boxes from now on i believe

UPDATE dam i got 891 WU...i have got allmost 400wu while i was around those extra 2 computers i got going realy help out...it took me about 1month to get to 500wu and 2 1/2 - 3weeks to get another 400

You know what? We're producing neck and neck with the MadOnions and DSL reports..... We don't need Stanman!! We'd appreciate him back.... his several hundred WU/day got us competitive in the first place, but I think we've responded to the challenge of him leaving rather well!

I'm doing all I can to boost my production... I got a 900 MHz Celly2 under my belt as of 2:00 this afternoon, it's a bit of a test to see if I can truly hide f@h on the lab computers where I work. There's 3 other C2 900's that are waiting if I am successful.. I also added a female friends' P3 1 GHz last night.. I'm already beginning to see the boost in my stats.

So the moral of the story is WE ARE DOING AWESOME!! Keep it up!! Add that extra box you've got laying around!! Get a mobo for that extra chip or visa versa....

sickboy just try to not get in trouble with the lab computers :) my new update is at 896WU i am coming up very fast on the milestone of 1000....hopefully i should reach it in 2 days i am going to run all my computers 24/7 till i do hehe:)
