I want to copy an iso ment for bootable cds to a usb drive. Is there a way I can do this. Ive tried copying the contents of of the iso but that did not work. I am using an abit ic7 mobo. I know the prorgram can not boot off floppies. Perhaps theres a way to make the usb drive look like a usb cdrom drive?
You need to 'burn' the ISO image to your thumb drive via a burning prog such as Nero or Roxio, not copy it. Obviously your thumb drive has to have the capacity to hold the ISO image,,,,,,,,,,

I have nero. I would have to get nero to think the usb drive is a cdwriter that nero has drivers for. ELse I couldn't find any option that would "burn" iso to removable media. Did I miss something?

Would that work on a Lexar JumpDrive? It says "Requires an HP DiskOnKey device" on HP's website.

it works on any usb key.
not sure if it will do what you're thinking of doing though.
the hp utility will format your usb key,and ask for where the system files are located so it can load them from.
