Hello, i just started folding (almost 100 units) with you guys recently, infact i was getting into it enough that i ordered 2 more folding systems which should be arriving any day.

the thing that got me going was the "community" that this forum seemed to share, now it seems that people are just plain getting ****y with eachother for no reason.

think i will head out and see if i cant find a new group to fold with and share without the ill feelings.

take care all, Xan.

I would suggest a place but people would really hate me for it. Sorry for the tease, but I wanna try and patch up my reputation around here.

you coming back with the 2.0 client? Caching, a whole lot less server downtime, we would love to have you back!

ditto william....

and xanthan... please don't let the feelings of a few interfere with how you think of this place... we're just going through a little bit of growing pains. it'll pass, just give it time.

I agree with Sickboy, give it a chance - or give us a chance to show you that we aren't all that bad! :)

There is no major things going on, we are still here to fold for the good cause and a little bit of friendly competition only gets more units done.

I hope you decide to stay.

I hate to see anyone go and so far only the past couple weeks have been bumpy. I'm not here for any of you, I'm here first for my family and the fact the alzhiemers runs in my family. Second I love competition, on one hand I have been happy with my increase in team rank and overall rank. On the other hand I have beena bit disappointed at how easy it seems to have been thus far to increase my rankings.

To cut down on power useage if thats a concern for many people just cut the monitor off at night...my hdd turns off after about an hour and it doesn't seemt o affect anything other than wake up time once I wake up the next morning. I have 2 systems folding now 24/7...main system just sleeps and powers down the monitor..my secondary system refuses to reawaken the monitor(guess its going bad after 6 years of faithful service) so I just cut it off at night. Don't forget to turn speakers off either. not to mention printers or anything else that can be powered off at night.

These guys are like a bunch of brothers. No way in heck they will agree all the time If something starts to press you just tell yourself it won't and keep on trucking. See you when you get back.

We all have our own moans and problems with other members. One member was telling me my overclock on my Athlon was rubbish I agreed with him even though I wasn't happy with the way he commented on it. The one member who won't be named has helped me in other areas and we all are because we air all fellow overclockers and those of us Folding are here to help the world, hopefully trying to find cures for diseases and so on...

We need all the help we can get... Stay with us pleezze????

The more we fold the better!!

I have just been working hard all day trying to get another box folding and I do it for not just myself but everyone.
We are a community man!!:)
