....it is not finshed yet I still wanna add an 80mm fan to it  but i think I may need to do a volt mod to get a higher core speed.....and i checked my core it is an R350

Have you actualy used it without a fan? It doesnt look like it would be a lot better than stock even with a fan on it, as its so small...

I would be careful about voltmoding that card unless you do get some better cooling. I do not think that heastsink would be up to the voltmod even if you added a 80mm fan.

Ya well i was not thinking about doing a volt mod for awhile...mayb in a couple of months when i can rigg up better cooling....I dont want to kill my 9800PRo just yet it still runs the new games just fine
That might have come off from a P3, but it is a relic from the old socket 7 days. That HP probably had a Celeron in it, which didnt put off as much heat as a Pentium did with 256k of cache. It might be bigger than the original hsf setup, but until you get at least a 60mm fan on it I doubt that it is all that much better.

Ramsinks are usually good for a 5mhz increase, it coudlnt hurt to put some on there if you can find another old heatsink sitting around and then cut it up.

you should really look into some better cooling, such as artci cooling, its only like 18 bucks, and they're great!

this is the old style but it still works great.
i wouldnt OC at all with that heatsink... you dont want to fry your card just cause of inadequate cooling!
i tried doing something like that with a geforece 4 mx 400 pci(ew i know) and it didnt work too well..... lets just say its in the trash now(wasnt worth trying to fix)
