View Full Version : Faked Overcloking Score !
Hello EveryOne !
I've seen in your AMD CPU Database, somme one had Overclocked an

Athlon64 3400+
4400mhz
-2.25v
-AMA3400BEX5AP
Abit KV8 pro
-Custom Bi-electric Hydro Fusion (Cooling)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm sorry but is hard to believed that kind of thing, I think whoever posted that score ! should be shame of him self, and that person should be forbidden to hang around on the Website. I think whoever taking care of validate the Database Overclocking score, should be carefull & watch-out for those Painter-scores-Faker (Not a real Overclocker) :argue:
ps: Another thing ! (Custom Bi-electric Hydro Fusion) that was his system cooling  this guy probably don't even know what's he talking about, I think sometime certain people, they're so stupid that they think everyone else are stupid.
I'm sorry but I have to tell what i thinking about this (4400Mhz for a Athlon64 3400+) keep dreaming dude !
Welcome to the forums, and hate to break the news to you, but like half of those overclocks on the main page at least are totally fake.

Yes unfortunately CPU overclock databases everywhere seem to act as a magnet to morons who get their jollies from entering fake data. IF you think ours is bad, you should see the one at sysopt.com . I do beleive Ed or Joe does give it a going over once in a while to weed out the obvious fakers, but since they don't do this as a living, it's only when they can make time from thier private lives.
There are even some twisted cretins who think overclocking is immoral or should be illegal and purposely try to screw up the databases to "teach us a lesson" or something
Anyway, an experienced eye, such as yours and mine can obviously pick out the fakes quite easily and therefore it will probably only give the fakers some kind of sick satisfaction to see us getting all worked up about it, it's not worth spending the effort of getting annoyed over childish behaviour like that.

That's mature.
yea seriously, i saw some dude had a Duron900 at 2.1GHz

ya right...

Why don't you check out the real OC result collection (hitecjb1's) instead? :)

If anyone is posting because they would like to see a change or improvement happen, your concerns should be emailed to Ed or Joe about the frontpage - we can do nothing about it here.
Anyways, someone hacked the database and messed up all kinds of data a while back... Apparently there is still a lot of bad information. So all that bad info isn't just from ID10t's inputting wrong stuff, its from someone deliberately attacking the resource, because they could.

Great Thread, being a n00b at this art please humor this question:
why is this not possible?
Athlon64 3400+
4400mhz
-2.25v
-AMA3400BEX5AP
Abit KV8 pro
-Custom Bi-electric Hydro Fusion (Cooling)

that speed for one is incredible, I don't they have hit that with a vapochill. Second what is bielectric hydro fusion.

The processor is 2.2Ghz speed at stock. This would require a 82% OC or about 363Mhz on the RAM. The voltage increase from 1.5V to 2.25V will likely fry the chip without OC. I strongly doubt the board would handle a serious portion of the OC. Finally, SciFi cooling doesn't sound like reality.

Wouldn't it be a 100% overclock?
4,400Mhz/2=2,200Mhz=2.2Ghz.
Seems pretty clear to me?

I think the only known recent CPUs to achieve 100% overclock are C0 Stepping P75s (Many), Celeron 300A (a few), very few Duron 600s, and even fewer still Tbred "B" 1700s. There might have been some Coppermine Cellys in the 566-667 range that managed it too with extreme cooling.

Plus, do a Google search for "bi-electric hydro fusion" and see what it comes up with :p
Argh, misread the speed. Still impossible at the higher speed.

Agreed not even with LN2
