Acer any good?

I want a fast laptop, is this a good choice?

Anybody got one of these, or any Acer for that matter. I only have experience with Dell, but I found this and it sounded pretty good. Big drive, lot's of Ram and Dothan.

I'll probably get this unless someone tells me it's a bad idea.

Ahh, my Mother just got this particular notebook a few weeks ago, It's an okay laptop, the things I don't like about it is that the case flexes a little to much for my comfort, the touchpad is a little stingy, it gets awfully warm in certain conditions and it's a little weighty. Good screen though, it plays counter-strike like a champ.

I have acer 4500 or 4501, can't complain, overall good
