Gf3 Vs Ati 8500

Ok I have a friend that wants the best card on the market and he is willing to spend $350 so which would be better the new ATI 8500 of the GF3?

In my Oppinion the 8500 will rock a Gf3 from what ive read and the Ati 8500 is loaded with more features. But Gf4 i heard is coming i just don't know when though.

Well right now you cant buy a ati 8500. So the GF3.
Also if you consider the 8500 as a wait for then you will have to also consider the GF3 ultra.
No matter what you buy there will be something better that will come along.
The GF3 is a well used card that has no know compatability problems and excellent driver support.
The ATI and GF3 are both new cards that may be flawless and maybe not no one will know until after they have been distributed for a little while.

When is the GF3 ultra , also the ATI 8500 and the GF3 titanium coming out? He is wanting to go shopping on the 18th but I might be able to talk him into waiting for a better card

The ati you can pre-order at www.ebgames.com they show the date they expect stock as oct. 2nd.
