Is it possible to mix different kinds of memory in the same computer?
Or will only one of them work?

And how do i know what memorys are compatible with my system?
Can i use ddr 2 pc4200? (currently i have 512mb of pc2700 DDR333)

In addition to what was said above, if you use modules of different speed (both DDR), both modules will run at the speeds of the slowest module. I mean if you have DDR2700 and DDR3200 sticks, both modules will run at DDR2700 speeds.
