9600 and 6800 GT

Ok, here the situation. I just built my computer and with the 6800 GT it would not start. Then i put the 9600 PRO into it and it booted up just fine. What am I doing wrong?

did you plug the P4 connector from your psu to your card? if so , then there might be something wrong with the card.

who makes the card. if its the BFG one, are the blue lights on the fans coming on? are the fans coming on at all?

Man, if you did everything right and plugged the power connector into the card then it sounds like you got a doa card. Make sure that you plugged the power connector into the card.
