That is the best deal I have found on the Z-5500 as I was thinking about buying a set, then decided I'm going to stick with Klipsch.
Thanks for that, is there even a hige difference between the 680's and 5500's though besides power?

The 5500's have a 10 Inch Sub and I believe some issues that were in the 680's were solved, supposely sound clearler.
*Best price so far is the link I gave, for brand new it even beats the eBay ad's*
Probably just going to go with these, damn that sexy decoder Lol

I asked about it and there is some good info in there. I think there worthwhile since the Klipsch 5:1 Ultra does not come with a decoder & I don't trust eBay users selling speakers of this nature.
Alright, thanks for that info.

I use maybe 20 percent of the bass setting on my z680 and even than, i'm always toning down the bass. The bass was NOT an area that the z680 needed upgrading. Also note that the z680 uses standard speaker wires (that i've upgraded with monsters) so you can adjust them to fit anywhere, whereas the 5500 comes with non standard connectors and thus cannot be adjusted.
That said, the z5500 does look freakin SEXY.
Yea, for a present i got some nice speaker wire. So ill be fine with that.
Um... did you notice my exact thread on this topic on this page? :)
Newegg Refurbished were good enough for me at that price

Too bad they are never in stock. That is why I grabbed them after I saw them appear on newegg last week for only $10 more than just deals.
I just got them yesterday. My projector comes today. :D
