Instant Messaging needed for company intranet

Do any of you folks have a recommendation for an instant messaging package for internal company use? I need something that is server based so we can log all IM activity, but it doesn't need to be anything more than an IM package, nothing fancy.

Jabber is good. Earthlink tech support uses it.

Thanks for the link, it does look pretty cool. Looks like we might go with L7 Enterprise from http://www.akonix.com though, it will capture all IM and chat traffic on the network, and it looks like that's the direction we want to go.
