Hope that someone can help me. I just installed a new Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Everything works great, but my homepage. On my browser I click on TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS and under HOMEPAGE I place the URL of my homepage and click APPLY then OK, but every time I close the browser and reopen the browser it defaults to ABOUT:BLANK with a quick website search window.

What’s going on? I never had this problem until I installed this new keyboard.

Try hijackthis. It sounds to me like something is messing with your homepage setting, but I don't think it's your keyboard.

I uninstalled the Logitech keyboard software and my homepage now remains and works AOK. Keyboard and mouse works AOK. Not sure if any of the security issue with the keyboard operating on the bluetooth airwaves is up to date. I know I have lost use of many of the features of the keyboard without the software..

Download Spybot, Adaware, and CWShredder and run them all. Once everything is cleaned out of your system, reinstall the drivers. Make sure you disable System Restore before you run them.

I don't know what about the drivers triggered your browser getting hijacked, but that's a pretty common (and virulent) piece of spyware that does that; I believe it's CoolWebSearch that is doing it. CWShredder will take care of that for you.

That's not something for the faint of heart to read :)

How do you disable System Restore? I did not do this before running Spybot & Adware...

Right click on My Computer, go to Properties, and there's a tab called System Restore. Just uncheck the box. Make sure you turn it back on later.
