I'm completely new to Overclocking, so I don't really know how much I would be able to clock my current CPU. the computer stats are as follows:

AMD T-Bird 1400
----
1400 AMS3C
AYHJA 01288 PQW
Y6593531264
99AMP
----

(What does the letters and numbers on the CPU core really mean anyways?)

Addtronics 7896A Server Tower
Enermax 350W PSU
Abit KG7 RAID motherboard
256mb Samsung original PC2100 DDR ram
Matrox G400 MAX
Creative SBlive value
3Com905B-TX

Pioneer 16x DVD
IBM Deskstar 30Gb
IBM Deskstar 60Gxp 40Gb
Fujitsu 16Gb

The CPU is currently cooled with a TaiSol CGK 760092 Copper Base HeatSink with a 60->80mm converter... and ontop of it all is a TITAN 80mm 2500 RPM, 37 CFM, 29 dB Fan.

I have also considered to make a 60->92mm converter and put a Sunon fan humping out a massive 50CFM (still making considerably less noise than a delta fan) over the HeatSink... But this only if I gain much from OC'ing, and thus will requier better cooling.

In my own experience with these converters I must say that they seem to work very well. Currently my unclocked 1400 idles @about 39 degrees, and fulload @47 degrees. and that without making much noise at all.

Can anyone give me some feedback regarding the potential OC level of my system?

Welcome, you have done REAL good in the selection of your parts. I only real question is what case fans do you have? It sounds like you know what you are doing. There are better 80mm fans that are quiet without getting a 92mm. The Adda 50 cfm is real quiet and only $9.00USD. As your CPU goes it is a good one. I will attach a pic to let you know how yo decipher it. 39c is good at idle and load temps are good but the difference is due to possible more case cooling needed. That chip will do good if you keep it cool!! I cannot give you a exact number. Let us know what happens. Good Luck!!

Case cooling might be an issue... I'll look into it

I've currently got:

Front:
Papst 120mm 55.3cfm, 26dBa
Zalman 80mm 31.4 CFM 28db @7v (it's cooling a hd in the hdbay)

IstormII hd cooler in a 5,2" slot

and the Enermax PSU has one 92mm intake form the cassi and a 80mm out..

I haven't mounted a 92mm fan in the back, perhaps I should... I'm really pleased with this chassi, only problem would be moving it around ;D
