Ok, just got the RMA back (original one didn't display reds), so I tried OC'n the beast (hoping for ultra clocks). But, I only get 425/510 before it wont test w/ coolbits 2.0. 425/511 doesn't work, and 426/510 doesn't work. I thought the stock speeds for a 5700nu were 425/550. Am I wrong? Why do you think my OC is so low?

I can't find anything on the 5700nu. I see people referring to them, but I have never seen one for sale. Do you have a link to where you got it at? When you set it to defaults in Coolbits, what does it go to? Also, what type of cooling does it use? What type of RAM does it have (if you know) and how much?

425/500 is what it is at stock, and I can't go any higher with it than 425/511.

No clue what the ram is, and it uses a copper (looks it atleast) w/ 2 30mm (guestimate) fans.

That is much better cooling than my 5700LE uses (just a single small hsf). I'm not sure why it ocs so little; it might just be that you got unlucky.

I thought that, and I guess it is possible. I plan to pick up a tube of AS-E and try re-seating the heatsink, and chopping up an old HS and making some RAMsinks.

Anybody have any good suggestions for an aftermarket heatsink for this card? Maybe if I get a better core heatsink, that along with the ram sinks I have made, I might could get a higher oc.
