Hey guys,
Im VERY new to the oc side of things, but would like to get some more performance from my Athlon 850 with a KT7 Raid board, both of which I got at a fair, for very good prices.

Ive never done this, and dont know too much about the board, so speak n i c e a n d s l o w l e y if ya dont mind.

Ive read about using a 5h pencil on the L1 bridge of the chip to unlock?? it. Is this right.

Any advice would be a treat.

WELCOME TO THE FORUMS. Yup that sounds right but I would advise you to use conductive paint. It is a critical connection in my opinion so why use a pencil. READ as much as you can on the articles available on the site & that would get you going in the right direction. Let the article paint you the big picture then let the forums clear things up for you. Download Sisoft Sandra 2001,Prime95 & 3DMark2001 to test your system & point out the week parts.
