View Full Version : Which Heat sink Fan?
List
Vantec CCK 6035D
Thermalright SK6
Taisol with the copper bottom with delta 38
Thermosonic Thermoengine with delta
The Vantec beat the sk6 by 1degrees C
Its also a little bit cheaper.
The taisol looks big and could cool better
The Sk6 has a hard clip but is also all copper
The thermoengine is not copper but cools like one.
Which would you choose?

Consider the new alpha PAL 8045.
It's big. There is a review of it here at OC.com, and another review at Anandtech also. I think it's a serious consideration, especially if you have in mind keeping the noise down.
Of course, you would have to make sure your motherboard could accomodate it. :D
is the alpha pal 8045 or thermo sk6 cooler?
in another words, which performs better?
Some of our KOOL ppl from O/C have metioned really good results on the SK6 and there's a really good article in overclocker's articles section, it is an aswome heatsink, in fact it helps cool the connectors that are close to the cpu, and the great thing about these type of heatsink is that you can always switch the HSF for a more powerful one. I belive you have 2 options so far either the Sunon or Delta is your choise (both fans are great, just one louder than the other) ;)
Good luck cooling your sys :)
Is the taisol CGK7600092 better than the sk6? It has a copper bottom but aluminum heatsink. The one with the delta 38.

I don't think it cools as well as the sk6, it is a good cooler though.

the SK6 is the best bang for the buck at the moment!
Wait for the new PAL8045 and it'll take that spot at its retail price of only 40 dollars!!!!
Is PAL8045 make of entirely copper?
