somhow ive always had the worst scores of my class system... and somhow my 2.6ghz score is only 1.8k higher then a 2.3ghz score that not only has lower gpu clocks but beat some of my 2.4ghz on the same chip. does 3dmark not like me or what?

im begining to believe that the bottleneck is my psu, but im tired of horrible scores    . anyone care to give me some help?

all of your high scores are good except 3DMark05.my rig is similar to yours so it is a good idea to compare your high scores to my signature.

im just hoping once i get a psu that i know can handle everything, they will atleast go up a bit. ive seen people with lower settings get higher.

like your 03 scores... 300 pts higher yet your clock is 50/62 clocks lower*respectivly* then mine? that and my a64 outperforms... no wipes the floor statistically with a p4 at 3.6? and i get horrible scores?

perhaps once the final bottle neck is eliminated i can have some scores to be happy about!

does your gfx card have 16 or 12 pipes enabled? mine only has 12 enabled.
is your cpu overclocked? if not aim for 2.9ghz.mine isnt overclocked at all!!!
also what type of psu do you have? if it is less than 400w than get a 520w.how many hardrives in your rig? and are they 7200 rpm+? that will determine the type of psu you will need.windows tweaks are not necessary since i dont do it.
your 01 score is quite high while your 03 score is a little low and your 05 score is definitaly abnormaly low.which leads me to believe your cpu is indeed wiping the floor with mine but something is keeping you from getting anywhere near 5k in 05,probably your gfx card.do you have the latest drivers and is the performance slider in catalyst control centre moved to optimal performance? and what timings is your system ram running at? 2.5-3-3-7 is best. and by the way i run my gfx card at 510/520 when running any 3DMark test.your 03/05 scores resemble my pre-overclocking results!!!

hi there i got a 2.4b p4 if u want to hit way over 1.8 k
u need to over clock ur cpu to 3.09 ghz at 1.600v it works well i maxed out the mobo in vcore so i cant go eney higher but if ur willing to go higher dont go passed 1.7 vcore unless u realy got a good cooling system. if u got a 9800pro 128 stock i hit 6983 if u tweak it well u may be able to hit the 7000 mark o ya it needs to be water cooled to keep it cool k
