:eek: I just installed Win2000Pro and now im geting frequent restarts my specs are below.....any one have any ideas??

What, you mean that your box just kinda restarts all on its own? I'd say its your overclock. Drop it back to spec and see if it still does it.

I think I remeber seeing an option somewhere in win2k to automatically restart whenever theres some error... not 100% sure though...

it's probably your o/c.....
win2k doesnt tolerate high o/c speeds for some reason

ok ill put it back to its default settings :( see if that fixes it ...any clue why windows 2000 dosn't like to be oc'ed?Is there any tweeks that could help fix this??

The system is probably set to automatically reboot when it fails, like Mr00Bill2 suggested. To turn off automatic reboot:

Right-click on My Computer and select Properties
Go to Advanced Tab
Under System Failure disable Automatically Reboot

ok problem solved,(unchecked restart option) well the restart problem anyways( there's was still an error causeing it to restart to begin with)I uped my vcore and took down the fsb and uped the multiplier seems good so far..running prime95 and its still going :) thanks guys

make sure you check prime.log for sumout errors that means something is failing or to hot

I was having the same problem then I upped the vcore prob went away

Thanks for the suggestion RJ
but my temps are like 38 idle 45 load now and with more Vcore they will only get hoter and I allready think there to hot...;)

I agree my temps are like that now and I'm water cooled If you want want to stay O/C'd that high you may have to get a little better HSF. I dont really like the temps I'm running but I guess that's the price you have to pay for being O/C'd 352mhz:rolleyes:
