This water block got so hot trying to cool this water block under load that the copper change color and stained itself.I use a 90/10 water /water wetter mix.the Preshott was running at 4.0ghz 1000fsb.Average temps Idle 115F Load 145F using MBM5. :eek:

maybe some reaction to WW along with high temps... buy WTF none of the less...

i used something like a 70/30 mix of water and WW with a maze 4 block for a while with a pretty warm AXP. i never got the slightest bit of corrosion or tarnishing or anything.

yeah that is definetly not due to the heat of the pressie. 42C and 65C is not that hot.
Ive had mine look like that before. Not nearly as bad but it was simliar. Soaked it in some lime juice for about 45min and it looked like new.

you can boil it in ketchup also to clean it or use high concentration of koolaid ( learned that one in the military years ago as orange drink in high concentration is actualy used to clean stainless steel believe it or not)
