New computer build-Suggestions please

How does this computer look?, do you guys see any problems? I'm building a new computer for my cousin, he wants something that will last a few years.

I would go amd since it seems he likes togame with that video card he is getting and......then new ram...

I don't know if you'd need new ram unless you are overclocking? Are you??
If he is going to do a lot of gaming on it (and with that graphics card I suppose he will be) then I would say go with AMD. Well also wouldn't you want a black DVD-RW drive?? A beige one in a black case won't look that good, even if it is hidden. Would you need that sound card or would the onboard mobo sound be sufficient? I think if you get that sound card it will reduce your cpu usage slightly whilst gaming.

Other than those, I see no problems

yea man that p4 2.8 might limit you somewhat...
I'd go with a socket 939 amd64 system, hit me up if your having a hard time finding parts, i just finished my athlon 64 system

Definetely go AMD. They are really the leaders in gaming performance at this point.

Are you saying I don't need ddr2 in this config...I'm not sure I understand you....oh he won't be doing much if any overclocking btw.

I don't know much about AMD systems, I just want to build him a good system....so in this price range how much more could I get by going AMD
