I woke up this morning and turned on my computer. I looked away for a second, and when I looked back, my system was running through the POST again, so I knew it had rebooted for some reason. Then I tried to boot into Windows again but right when the Desktop should have loaded the system restarted again. Now this happens every time I try to boot into Windows. I don't think it's a hardware issue since I can boot into Safemode just fine. I'm thinking its a virus or something, but I'm not sure. I followed all of the steps in the Malware Warfare guide and my system still can't boot into Windows out of Safe Mode. Any suggestions? Thanks!

sounds like unstable hardware to me, or some kind of program conflict

try a system restore, or uninstall everything you have installed recently.

sounds like your cpu is overclocked too high.

Well I've tried turning the CPU down the stock speed and I swapped the PSU and it still won't boot. I also tried doing a System Restore and that didn't do anything either. Any other suggestions?

I just tried using a different HDD and I can get into Windows just fine, so I think I'm just going to re-format the HDD that I'm having problems with. Thanks for your help.

did you try using norton systemworks cd it can check for viruses on the hard drive or it could be that your HDD is failing check for a failing hdd using your manufact software to start.

had the same problem with my brothers computer. dont worry, nothing should be wrong with your hardware. a quick re-format solved the problem for us.
