Staples rebates are the best

Those "easy rebates" are just that; you don't even need to mail anything. It makes sense. The rebate form prints out at the register. You can mail it in the standard way, with the rebate receipt and barcode. Or, you can just register online, giving them the rebate program number and the number that prints at the bottom of the rebate form. That's it. They know that you bought the thing and can trace it if you end up returning it. I just thought that I'd mention this in light of the existing Rebate thread. This is the way they all should be doing it. Hopefully a new era of rebate technology is dawning.

hehe amen...I haven't received one yet, but just submitted about 5 of them in....
easy for them as they can keep track via their receipts...easy for us because it leaves the original upc if the manufacturer has a rebate as well?

but do you follow them up. I have gotten every single one of my rebates back(knocking on wood) and that is a lot. I make copies like they say too. And i check online and/or call to make sure that they received it. Once they gotten it i keep track of how many weeks after that, usually eight. If i dont get anything i check online again or call them.

Last time they never got one of mine. So the person on the phone asked if i have copies, i said yes. She then gave me a special address to send it to and sure enough in 8 weeks i got my check.

These rebates are from various locations, mostly BB but also fry's, officemax, office depot and circuit city.

also call and check which upc bar they want if it is two rebates on the same product. Some want the orginal others will take copies. Same thing with just one rebate also.

yeah some online ones dont work since theywant upc or copies of.... havent had a staples yet that could be done online yet..

I think it has to be the "easy rebate" to do it just online. A manufacturer rebate likely still requires mail since they can't tap Staples database.

Staples easy rebates works well. I got a $60 rebate back on a netgear wireless combo. If all my rebates come back, I'll be in on more deals in the future.

Same here. Just got notified today that the rebates are in their way :D
