2 os's

long story short i have 2 os's on my comp
one is windows 98 plus
under the dirc of windows
and windows 2000 pro
under the dirc of winnt

would it be safe to delete the windows dirc.

if not what do i do to get ride of win 98plus.

ummmm...I wouldn't delete the Windows directory if I were you!! I'm assuming that these two os's are on different partitions, so if you want to get rid of Win98 why not just format that partition?

this happened to me to,
i was running win me and went to install win2k pro
well it did a clean install of win2k instead of upgrade
i had two 0s's on one partition, i could not figure out any other way of getting rid of win me so i had to format and reinstall win2k.
and that was a pain in my arse.

You should be able to delete your Windows directory...just make sure you have all the stuff off of your desktop that you want.

Win2k doesn't use anything in there.
