does changing cooling void the warranty? cause i have a powercolor 9800se that i replaced the stock cooling with a vga silencer rev.3 it went on fine ran for about a month then just died out of no where and i was wondering if I could send it in to powercolor for an rma???

I got this card from newegg and i was wondering what their policy is on Heatsink changes?

and no i do not have the original cooler

For the most part, yes your warranty is void. Since you modified the card, it voids the warranty. It would be enethical to RMA it.

I think that yeah, removing a cooler would void the warranty as the damage may have been caused by changing the cooler. I would call and ask, but dont get your hopes up.
