Hi, I just got an old Celeron 300 MMC 1 Laptop, and I have run the thing with the case open and the chip generates almost no heat (it feels about as hot as my RAM sinks at stock voltage). Is there any way I can try and overclock the thing (it is a Toshiba Satellite 4070CDS) without replacing the oscillators.

ah, just seen a post about Clockgen Ghost
remember that laptops don't have as much headroom as desktops for power and other things so take it easy, don just give it a 100mhz overclock right at way, work up to it.
good luck and post what u got outta it.
