View Full Version : tualatin on old P3 mobos
Anyone knows if there are any adapters coming or if there is any wiring that can make it work?
Powerleap may be working on an adapter, but other than that you're out of luck.
no because the diference isn't only the fc-pga2, the main diference is the step of the chipset p3 coppermine is diferent of the tualatin, tualatin use for ex: i815EP step-A and the normal p3 uses i815EP step-B!!! if you don't want to change your mainboard get a new celly cpu ( i recomend 1Ghz)

No, the difference is the VRM's on teh board, there arent many changes in the chipset, but there are in the Voltage Regulator department :)
