Alright heres the low down. At my school we have a small network of three computers. Mine was rinning 98 se while the other two were running 2k. I have wanted 2k for a while so I upgraded. Now all three at win 2k. We network and everything goes fine until my comp crashes really bad and I am forced to re format. No problem. But once I get everything running again the network doesnt work. I cant see the other two computers but they can see each other and not me. But I can see myself. It is not a driver problem with me card...I made sure of that. I think it might be win 2k security files at work behind this but we cant get it to work. Help! Any tips!

Are you on the same subnet?

Same workgroup?

Check your ip address...make sure you're logged on as administrator that way you have full access to change any settings you like.

you need to go through the network settings and make shure the "new" comp is exactaly the same (except for the ip address) as the other two you prob need to install netBEUI and enable file and printer sharing also see if you can ping the other two comps
