No "tic" sounds coming from any of the LCD's from work or home.
I notice it on my laptop every once and a while. I figured that it was just a noise that comes with the computer. Nothing too weird about it if you don't pay much attention to it.

Is it continual or occasional and random? I get cracking sounds from my equipment sometimes as it expands or contracts due to temperature changes. Could just be the plastic settling.

Get those on occasion on the LCD's at work. It is caused by a small amount of static. and gets worse for a few minutes after cleaning off the screens, but it doesn't seem to cause any problems. Probably should get a good anit-static screen cleaner for LCD's.

Nothing like that except when the LCD turns on after sleep mode.

this is exactly the only sounds I get from my monitor and it is usually minutes after I shut it off due to the fact it cools rapidly since its under the A/C vent
