It has support built in to the OS. Just drag and drop the files onto the burner Icon and select burn to disk...

The installed burning software does just very basic click-and-drag burning. Nero 5.5 works very well with XP. I use it.

Kewl, I'll have to check that out when I get home.
Would you say it works well, or would you get another program?
Thanks, BTW.

Get another program if you want to make audio CD's, XP's program will not

Yeah, that's mainly what I do.
So, Nero 5.5?
Thanks!

I'd go with Nero too.
I use Nero, Clone CD, CDRWIN, and Fireburner in XP and they all work fine. I also have tried the built in burning and it does work good but is no substitute for the real thing.

Actually, it can make audio cd's. It works pretty well too. I've burned about 20 cd's with XP's built in program, and never had a problem yet.
Also, it's just as fast as Adaptec was, if not faster.

Yup, works fine, I'm not even gonna bother with nero untill I have a problem with XP's program.
