Is there a huge difference in performance with the radeon 32 ddr card vs the 64 ddr card. I have to make a quick decision in the next hour after selling my Geforce Deluxe 256 DDR 32 meg card. 64 ddr vivo or a used 32 ddr radeon.

To get the 64 it will cost me a fair bit more than buying the used radeon 32 card and I am trying to justify whether it is worth it just for the extra 32 ddr ram and vivo, cost will be an extra $165 canadian after I sell my Geforce 256 32 DDR Deluxe. By buying the 32 radeon ddr I will actually get $20 back after selling my card ?

Is this a no brainer 32 DDR radeon, forgo the vivo and TV out I now have hoping to gain a bit of performance and newer technology??

help I am struggling

Well I would not worry to much about the 32mb and 64mb diff. especiually if it will cost you quite a bit difference. The only time you will notice and ACTUAL difference is when you are playing at some pretty high resolutions, and plusittl only be about 5-8FPS

Yeah, I would take the 32mb ddr card and the cash and be happy. I just bought the 32mb ddr Radeon and am pretty happy with it. Getting between 2300-2400 3dMark2001 scores.

Yea, if the VIVO isn't important then get the 32.

Well I broke down spent the extra cash, got a small bonus at work luckily. So now I have to see what this card will do. I scored 2649 with 20x drivers and my Geforce 256 Deluxe DDR 32 card so I am hoping I can break 3000 at least now.

Feedback on the best drivers, preferrably not betas intitially, but if they appear to be better than I will take the advice. Looking forward to the better 2d video and 3d frames.

BTW Zuck Gou :) I know where a 32 ddr radeon is available in Vancouver/Surrey can probably be had for $90 no cd or box, just card.:)

Please email me the contact info. I have read good things about the Radeon cards and it seems like a decent buy.

My only hesitation is that Pricewatch.com has that same card new for $72 + $8 shipping. Is the price firm?

Thanks,
Dunga Bee

Email me for his contact info @ sunfire@chek.com. The card was gonna be advertised again this coming week at a lower price but then I contacted to buy but did not so I think he will lower asking price to around $100 Ca or best offer. Offer $80-90 canadian and see what he says.
