Thinking of getting NWNs to play with my fiance.

It seems like a title that we could both get into. And the persistent worlds thing sounds interesting. I still know almost nothing about the game though. And there's platinum edition and gold and whatever.

Should I get the platinum edition? I assume I'll need two copies to play, but will I need two platinum edition copies?

Ive played it online with friends and it is just damned cool. I know you will enjoy it. I think the plat edition comes with the first expansion pack, so get that.

Gameplay is quite a bit like Diablo to be honest. Last I checked there were 3 expansion packs

My fiance got my NWN Platinum for xmas, it comes with the original game + the two official expansion packs out right now, and a few little modules made my the creators. Definitely a good buy and one of the best D&D based games available!
