Newbie looking for some help...

Since I'm new to all this I'm hoping someone can help.

I have a comcast cable modem, which replaced a SBC DSL line and I still have the 2Wire Wireless Router from SBC. Is there a way I can use this and just buy a wireless card for my pc to go wireless? Or do I have to buy a differnt router and card. :-/

Sure, u can use your old wireless router with your new Comcast service. Just make sure to get a card that matches the routers wireless frequency. Like 802.11 g or 802.11 b.

You will most likely have to disable PPPoE on your router, or just reset it and run the wizard if it has one. Other than that, I've heard those routers are a breeze to setup and configure, so I don't it will be a problem.
