First let me tell you I am pretty amazed with this forum. Great stuff I've been reading and learning. Thanks for that.

Now, my question. This has mostly to due with the fact that I cannot find here some brands I can find where I live.
I'm buying a computer in this shop, so I can only choose stuff that it has. I cannot go for OCZ, Zippy, Enermax, etc. because it doesn't have those.

I'm thinking in buying a computer with the following items:
- Asus P5GD2 DELUXE or P5GD2 PREMIUM or P5AD2 PREMIUM or MSI 915P Neo2 Platinium or MSI 925X Neo Platinium
- Pentium IV 540
- 2x DIMM DDR2 512Mb 240 DDR2 533MHz Kingston
- Seagate 200 SATA (+120 ATA that I have)
- Thermaltake Tsunami Dream case
- ASUS EN6600GT TD128 PCI Ex or MSI NX6600GT TD128 PCI Ex

Btw, if you can comment about this configuration, I would be very grateful :)

So, if you can tell me what PSU I should buy for such configuration would be great.
Here's the page of the PSUs:

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums!

Not a lot of choice there - I'd suggest the Antec 480w or 550w. Maybe the Thermaltake 560w too, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Avoid those Chieftec and Q-Tec units.

definitely go for a 450W+ PSU...granted, a 400W will get you buy but having a 480 will give you some leeway...looking at the link...antec.

Thanks a lot for your replies!

Yes, I know... not a lot of choice :(
Ok, I'll avoid Q-tec and Chieftec.
Oh man, you chose the "cheapest" ones...
I know Antec is the best option. But 159€ or 186€...are so many €!
You really think I should not go for just a 430W unit, right? As you say, a 480W will give me some leeway.
And what about those Thermaltake units between 100€ - 111€ (the W0014R Black or the W0019 Black Butterfly)?

Only if you're desperate. You might get by with the Antec 430w too, but I can't guarantee stellar overclocking with it.
