need help pick up ram

hey ppl, i want to upgrade from my 512mb pc2700 ram to 1 gig of new ram. I have a abit max3 mobo and a p4 2.6c. my budget is about 300 dollars max, and i'm just wondering if you can suggest what type of ram i should get, like brand and speed. I'm planning on overclocking btw.

u need something that runs lowest latencies at about 250/265 (max of ur cpu) here are some suggestions..
1. something with the samsung tccd chips. (240-280.00)
2. check out the vx thread. guys are getting 260/270 @ 2.2.2.5 by running 3.5 volts thru some cheap twinmos speed premium modules that are usuing the lastest binning of the winbond utt chips(40.00 for the ocz voltage booster and about 150.00 for the twinmos speed premium pc3200)
3. or maybe find someone who has a set of bh5 modules for sale that will run 250/260mhz (300.00+)
