I was just wondering about this compatibility mode in win2k.like how it works so i had a few questions.
1.Is it made so you can use win 95, 98 drivers or are you supposed to use the win2k drivers and if they dont work then apply this option along with the win2k drivers.
2.Is this the same option that winxp has, and does it actually work??
The reason why i ask this is because im haveing nothing but problems getting games to run on win2k.(installed sp2 and have direct x8 for win2k)
Installed Ut and it runs great untill i hit the multiplayer button and it freezes everytime.
Installed quakeIII and it ran great untill i got the pointrelease patch so i could play online and now it doesnt even start at all.
These are games that are supposed to be compatable with win2k i dont call that compatable!!!:eek: :confused: :mad: :rolleyes:
