Detonator XP's rock!

Just installed the DetXPs after a new Win2000 install, and they make my GeF2 MX 400 card fly!

Double the frame rate in 3DMark2001 in the first test..............

Reddd...the new drivers really suprised me with the boost provided in 3dMk2001...new drivers really get the juices flowing...gotta try all the old games too...WOWOW.

how do i get rid of it and replace with detonator

and how do you check temp?

Go to Control panel -> add/remove programs and uninstall the old then install the new. :) Chances are that your card does not have a temperature sensor, you'll probably have to buy one.

is in my Winfox driver!

I thought is right click on My Computer n delete the gfx section than reinstalll detonator?

Umm, not sure what your talking about. I just remove video drivers in 'add/remove programs'. (Thats in Win2k & 98 - for certain)

geforce2 mx/400 with WIN ME??

don't tell me Win ME is crap i allready know it is... i will be switching to the far superior 2k when i get a chance...

Not even SE!:o

I think performance in different os wouldn't differ much. So, it wouldn't be much of a worry.

Tio..You can get the XP Drivers here (http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=drivers).

To install:

-Right click on desktop
-"properties"
-"Settings" Tab
-"Advanced"
-Select "Adapter"
-Select "Change"
-Select "Display Adapters in a specific location"
-Select "Show all devices" at bottom
-Select "Standard Display Types" in left windo
-Select "Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA)" on right.
-Apply, reboot.
-Double click on new XP drivers..self extracting

....phew..that was long! Good luck! The XP's surely do rock!

Yep...check the link in my above post. The XP's have full support for ME! :)

Right click on My computer
Go to Properties
Go to device Manager
Go to VGA gfx card
Then delete the current driver "Leadtek Winfast GF2 GTS Pro"
Then install Detonator XP
Then I am done!

Do you mean the difference between ME and 2k isn't that big so installing det4 would be a good idea.... or do you mean the difference between existing drivers and det4 drivers for ME isn't that big so don't bother..... ??:(??
