Rig is in my sig.
When I turn down all my other fans via a fan controller, I can hear the psu and it is loud. Are Antecs always this loud? I thought they were quiet and adjusted to loads/temps.
Any way I can make it quieter?

-Thanks

I thought those babies had switches on the back that let you tune how loud it gets. No?

Do you have the motherboard sensor(that's what I think it's called and it's black/blue) connected from the PSU to your mobo? Mine is very quiet.

No that isnt normal at all. Usually Antecs are unusually silent. What kind of noise is it making? Its entirely possible that one of the fan's berings is going bad.

Its just the regular fan noise, nothing weird.
Yes, I do have the psu wire attached onto my mobo, in the AbitEQ Program it reads 1500/3200 rpm (I think its reading both fans for the 3200 part. it switches between the two #s.)

Temps in my case are fine, lots of airflow. 37 cpu idle 42 load 21 mobo idle 24 load

*Should I try running the psu w/o the blue sensor attached to mobo?

Hmm?

I tried running w/o the blue sens wire attached,
same noise level =(
The room is 70*F so its not hot

Well, we each have our own ideals for quiet. If you really want quiet you can replace the fans or hook them up to your fan controller. I replaced mine with Panaflo's and hooked them up to my controller.
