How to make a 'printscreen' from a DVD picture?!

I'm using WinDVD and when I pause the movie to make a screendump (or printscreen) I can see and edit the image but when it's saved it's just a black square. Prolly some copyprotection so is there a way around this?

I use power DVD and it has this feature built in....you might want to give it a look
