Air Flow

Alright, ive been noticing that heat has been an issue lately in my case, i have 2 REALLY cheap 80mm fans, they blow less air that the stcok fan that came with the retail AMD cpu !!!!!! Anyways, i have one intake in front and one exhaust in back. They are both weak and barely seem to push ANY air. But my cpu temp idle it 45, mb is 33 and GPU is 56!!!! 56 is with a blorb and memory sinks on an v7700 Geforce2GTS 32mb... What i want are side fans, that are on the side, but i dont have a dremel. Is there anywhere i can go that i can give measurements to them and THEY will cut the holes for me? Home Depot? Canadian Tire? Lansing Buildall?? Im in Toronto, Canada...HELP!?!?!??!

Do you have access to a drill (5mm or so bit) , hacksaw blade, and round file?

Mark your hole, drill round the hole, cut between the holes with the hacksaw, file smooth. Ta Da!

Take your time though. You'll need a couple of hours to do two holes.........


If you want somebody to cut the holes for you, look for a metalsmiths, or sheet metal workers in your local Yellow Pages.....

I dont have access to any drills or dremels....im not sure if there would be any metsmiths round here, but ill look. Is there ANY other way to put a few blowholes on the side of my comp?

I think thats your lot I would just get a metal worker to do it if can't

id try first to get better fans to replace both the 80mm u have. most of the cases two good 80mm can keep satisfactory air flow inside the case.

dude, get a hole saw, they are SWEET, they are better then a dremel because they cut an exact hole and usually don't have to be sanded

I dont wanna spend like $200+ (Canadian) for a tool that im only gonna use once....its a waste
