Are you sure those fans have 3 wires?
My temps are around 40-47 and I think they not high but the lower the better.

sounds right for a standard HSF :)

ahh in MBM you have to go to settings|fans and set a monitor up with a fan sensor.

Hi ToxicRat,
generally the temp to be safe must be around 40-45 degree C, but less is better.

mine is running at 32 , 44
full load (seti)
with aircon on...
i wish my temps are lower

can anybody tell me if it will do my cpu harm if i run it at around 54 ?

If you're speaking of your Amd chip, well, I suppose that is still safe but high, coz my Tb1200@1400 is went around 55 degree C @full load with folding@home during the hottest days of summer, and still works fine without probs :D

I suggest you to check the MBM settings as soon as possible, coz if you're really working with that temp you'll got very fast a cooked chip!

hmm...
i changed it a bit
and it's still 77
maybe i should change it to realitive value or fixed value?
and it show 3 temp..
1 is 23 and the 2 others are 77...
=/

cheers ( btw i have this comp almost 1.5 years.. works fine.. =/

I'm using Fixed Value, but I suppose that your Prob is to choose the right sensors into MBM. Generally it's simple looking the list of Mobo/Model down/left on the homepage but we know that you have a not very common Brand, so the best way for me is to use an external thermal sensor, that you must put between the chip and the Cooler, take a look to this one

I hope it helps you :)

hehe thnx man..
how much this termal thingy cost?
everything is darn ex over here..
if i'll tell ya how much a new comp cost u'll be shocked..
i have to get one though..

Well, generally no more than 10-15$, but you can also look into a local electronic shop for a thermal station with temps in/outdoor that use an internal and an external thermal sensor ;)
