Excited noob.Help..please!

hi all!, i have a XFX 6800 and have been reading about the softmod with rivatuner, is there a guide some where i searched the forum but couldn`t find anything apart from how to flash. what does (12x1,5vp). i have 3 pixel units ticked and 5 vertex .is this good or bad..

(12x1,5vp) those numbers indicate what pipelines are active on your GPU. Ultra/GTs have (16x1, 6vp)

me feels a bit silly now!! it was google i found ur site...shame i didn`t look a bit further and find that article...it apears to have all i need..still at least ive found a big OC forum !!!

Progress report! i have enabled the pipes that were turned off(with riva tuner) and ran aquamark, and it did have some glitches...would it make any difference if flash the bios instead or not! thx

shouldnt, but if your getting artifacting then i would disable the extra pipes cause they are bad, howver the extra shader should be fine.
