Will the PCI-E version of the x800pro vivo unlock 16 pipes?
I would like one at $400.
I think I found one, but is it a VIVO?

Also, what is the difference between the 2?

I just looked here (http://www.sapphiretech.com/vga/x800-pro.asp) and it said
Full retail indicates that the package contains the entire bundle including the Game software bundle and utilities. The Lite retail versions do not come bundled with the software bundle and are packaged with the neccessities needed to enjoy the pinnacle in performance from Sapphire alone.
the $420 may be full retail, and the $410 is the Lite version?
Edit: Might this (http://www.sapphiretech.com/vga/toxic-pro.asp) be the only vivo card saphire makes? Too bad its agp 8x and prolly in the $450 range :(.
Edit 2: This (http://www.edazz.com/3comnetincar7.html) looks like the same card, and it says VIVO. :)
So basically I still wanna know, will a pci-e version modify to open 16 pipes?

No one knows? I'm guessing it will, but I would really like to know for sure.

It might it might not. Unlocking a Pro is a toss up.
why not wait 2 weeks and get a x800xl for less that performs better?

cause if the pipes unlock, the pro will preform better. And the pro OC's higher than the ref xl cards. I know they are just reference, but still.
