Here's the text of an email I got just today. I figured a lot of Canadians would be interested to read it:

To: All Rogers @Home high-speed Internet customers,

A few weeks ago, you may have read or heard about the financial
challenges faced by Excite @Home in the United States. Please
be assured that Rogers remains committed to ensuring that these
challenges do not affect the delivery of your service.

Over a year ago, Rogers began the process of taking
responsibility for the operation and management of the network
in Canada. This work is well advanced. We have also been
examining our options for the services currently provided by
Excite @Home.

As Excite @Home deals with its situation, our focus continues
to be on you, our customer. Our commitment to you has been,
and remains, the provision of reliable high speed Internet
service.

Your business is important to us. For that reason, we will be
updating you via Email on a regular basis about any developments.

Alek Krstajic
Senior Vice President and General Manager
Rogers @Home
